明けましておめでとうございます。少し遅いですが。明日がようやく、卒論の提出日。毎年、これを過ぎないと正月気分にならないので。今は、ふと生じた空白の時間（全体ではないものの二人分の卒論に目を通したあと）にこれを書いています。すごく長くなりました。途中でやめて下さってかまいませんよ。
特に、在学生と文コミ卒業生向けの投稿になりますが、１月19日と20日の午後２時より、ある秘密の場所（笑）で自作の音楽劇を上演いたします。興味のある方は、ご連絡いただければ（アドレスは、人文学部のホームページに一覧あり http://www.human.niigata-u.ac.jp/~e-human/staff/index.html）、ご案内を差し上げます。まあ、夢のような話なのですが、これを機会に劇団を立ち上げたいなと考えているわけです。
ところで最近、自分の授業のレベルが落ちてきているなあと痛感しています。仕事が忙しくて準備の時間がないということもあるんですが、能力が落ちているのも確か。そして、一方で、学生の気質もやはり変わってきたのではないかと思っています。
一例が、「シアター」という授業。数年前に比べて、悪びれずに遅刻して来る学生が増えた気がするんですね。一応、アンケート用紙を配って、その提出により出欠を取っているのですが、後から来て後ろにたまっているその用紙を取り、平気な顔でそれを出していく（としか思えない）学生がいるんですよ。それで、こちらも、用紙は後ろから配って全部回収し、後から来た場合には私の所に来ないと用紙が手に入らないようにしたり、授業中、黒板に数字を書いて、それに在籍番号を足してアンケート用紙に書く、つまり、その瞬間に教室にいないとそれが書けないというようなことをやったりしています。馬鹿ですね。
しかし、こういうことを考えるのは、疲れるんですね。それよりは、講義で話すことについて工夫したいのに。昨年読んだ本の中で特に印象に残っているのに、内田樹（たつる）の『下流志向』という本がありますが、その中に教育サービスの買い手となってしまった子供の話が出てきます。新しいタイプの日本人の出現とまで言って、授業内容に対してすぐに「それ何の役に立つんですか？」と聞いてくる子供について書いています。
上記の学生の姿、直接はこれと結びつかないかもしれませんが、根っこはつながっている気がしているんです。というのは、大学改革、ある段階まではいい方向に行っていたと思うのですが、最近は学生を過度に消費者として、そして、サービスを提供すべき対象として捉えすぎているのではないかと思っているんですね。一例は、どんどん詳しく（詳しすぎる！）なっていくシラバスです。卒業生は、一度、覗いてみるといいと思いますが、この授業を取ると○○についての知識が得られ、～という能力が身につき、××という態度が備わりますというようなことが臆面もなく書いてあります。私も、それを推進している人間なので、書いています！ しかし、一度、「この授業に出ても、何の役にも立ちません。でも、自分の考えていることを真摯に皆さんに語りたい」などと書いてみたいものです。語学力が簡単に身につくものか！
こうした、学生を消費者として捉える教育の中途半端な点は、仮にこれを資本主義的な教育スタイル（まあ、考察あまりしっかりやっていないので、いい加減な命名です）と呼んだ際に、教育を提供する側にはそれが適用されないということです。はるか昔に予備校で働いていたことがありましたが、そこでは、毎年、契約更改があるんですね。勿論、生徒のアンケートなどをもとに授業の査定をやって、翌年の給料が決まる。プロ野球の選手などと同じです。勿論、日々、胃が痛かったけど。
大学では、こうしたことは、ごく一部にしかありません。つまり原資がないので、功績をあげた人間に報いることはすごく少ないです。勿論、差別反対の声も起こるし。ただ、報いようとしないのに、学生に対してサービスを提供するように迫り、また、学生からサービスの提供者としての質をあれこれ言われる中で誇りをもって仕事をしていくのはなかなか難しいものがありますね。
勿論、自分の語ることが無条件に価値があると信じ、誰も聞いていないような話をすることにも抵抗はあるのですが、役に立つかどうかではないところで判断されたいという気持ちはあります。今までは、給料安くても、国立大学の誇りみたいなところで頑張っていたとしても、忙しくて、消費者にサービスしなければいけなくて、利益が配分されないとしたら、なかなかね。
そして、突拍子もない結論に行くんですが（論理的な人間ではないので）、劇団を作ろうと思ったんですよ。何がいいかというと、作品の出来不出来が瞬間瞬間で分かる。単に笑ってもらえるか、喜んでもらえるかどうか、それだけ、その単純さがいいなと思いまして。
読み返してみて、やはり全然論理的でないですが、まあ、これが私の個性なので仕方がない。最後まで読んでくださった方、ありがとうございました。

My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be really appreciated!

I am really loving the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A couple of my blog audience have complained about my blog not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?
